Terms & Conditions

Clear Terms for a Peaceful Journey

How our bookings, payments, cancellations and travel arrangements work.

Last updated: August 2026

Enquiries and Booking

All tours are arranged on an enquiry basis. When you contact us we share an itinerary and quotation for your group. A booking is confirmed only once we have acknowledged it in writing (email or WhatsApp) along with the agreed tour cost and inclusions.

Payment

Payment terms — the advance amount and the schedule for the balance — are stated in the confirmation we send for your specific booking. Services are held only after the advance is received. Any cost that falls outside the agreed inclusions is payable directly by the traveller.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel, please inform us in writing as early as possible. Cancellation charges depend on how close the cancellation is to the departure date and on the terms of the hotels, transport operators and any tickets already booked for your trip. The applicable charges and any refund due are confirmed in writing for each booking.

Amounts already paid to third parties on your behalf and which are non-refundable to us cannot be refunded. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment source.

Itinerary Changes

Pilgrimage travel depends on temple timings, darshan and queue arrangements, local rituals, festival crowds, road and weather conditions. We may adjust the sequence of visits, timings or accommodation of similar standard to keep your journey safe and comfortable. We inform you of any material change as soon as we can.

Where a temple restricts entry, closes a shrine, or darshan is unavailable on the day, this is outside our control and is not treated as a service failure.

Traveller Responsibilities

To help your journey run smoothly, each traveller is responsible for:

  • Carrying valid photo identification (and visas or permits where applicable) for the whole trip
  • Being punctual at pick-up points and at scheduled departure times
  • Assessing their own health, fitness and mobility for temple visits that may involve walking, steps and long queues
  • Following temple dress codes, local customs and the instructions of our coordinators
  • Looking after personal belongings, valuables and documents

Third-Party Services and Liability

Hotels, transport operators, airlines, guides and other suppliers are independent service providers. We select them with care and coordinate them on your behalf, but we are not liable for loss, delay, injury or damage arising from their acts or omissions, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We recommend travellers arrange their own travel insurance.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for changes, delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural events, severe weather, transport disruption, strikes, civil unrest, public health measures, or orders of temple authorities or government bodies. In such cases we work with our suppliers to recover what we can on your behalf.

Photography

We sometimes take group photographs during a tour and may share them on our website or social media. If you prefer not to appear in them, please tell your coordinator and we will respect that.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
